Jawline filler is an injection of hyaluronic acid gel along the jaw and chin. It adds structure where there is little, giving a more defined jawline and a better-balanced profile.
Hyaluronic acid is a substance your body already contains, and the filler is broken down naturally over time. If needed, it can also be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase.

Filler is not the right treatment for sagging skin. If your jawline has softened because of jowls or loose skin, adding volume can make the lower face look heavier. In that case, a mini facelift usually gives a better result, and we will tell you so honestly.

Jawline and chin filler is often used to complete the result of another treatment. The jaw and chin frame the face, so small changes here can bring the whole face into balance.
Timing matters. Filler is not usually injected into an area that has just been operated on, because swelling makes it impossible to judge the result. Depending on your surgery, the doctor may suggest doing it on the same trip, in an area away from the operation, or on a later visit once you've healed. You'll get a clear plan before you travel.

Results usually last around 12 to 18 months, depending on the product, the area treated and your metabolism. Filler is not permanent. Many people choose a smaller top-up treatment when the effect starts to fade.

Most people feel only mild discomfort. Numbing cream is applied before the treatment, and most fillers also contain a local anaesthetic.
Will it look natural?
The aim is a defined jawline that suits your face, not an exaggerated one. The doctor will advise how much filler is appropriate.
Can filler be removed if I don't like it?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.
Can I fly after jawline filler?
Yes. Flying the next day, after your check-up, is generally fine.
Is filler a replacement for a facelift?
No. Filler adds volume and definition; it does not lift sagging skin. If you have jowls, a mini facelift is usually the better option.
Can I combine it with lip filler or other treatments?
Yes. Several areas can often be treated in the same appointment.
