A temple lift (also called a temporal lift) raises the outer third of the eyebrow and the skin of the temple. As we age, the outer brow is often the first part of the brow to drop. This pushes skin down onto the upper eyelid and can make the eyes look heavy, tired or sad, even when you aren't.
Through small incisions inside the hairline at the temples, the tissue is lifted and secured in a higher position. The result is a more open, rested look around the eyes.

The incisions are inside the hairline above the temples, so the fine scars are covered by your hair.
Can it be done under local anaesthetic?
Yes. Most temple lifts are done under local anaesthetic with sedation.
Will it change my facial expression?
The aim is a more rested, open look while keeping your natural expression. A well-planned lift should not make you look surprised.
Does it treat forehead lines or crow's feet?
Not directly. A temple lift raises the outer brow, which may soften the skin at the outer corner of the eye slightly, but it is not a treatment for lines. Forehead lines need a full brow lift or non-surgical treatment.
Can someone come with me?
