A breast lift (mastopexy) raises and reshapes breasts that have dropped. Loose skin is removed, the breast tissue is reshaped, and the nipple and areola are moved to a higher position. If the areolas have stretched, they can be made smaller at the same time.
A breast lift changes the position and shape of the breasts, not their size. If you’d also like more fullness, especially in the upper part of the breast, it can be combined with implants.

The technique depends on how much your breasts have dropped, and it decides where your scar will be.
The scars are covered by a bra or bikini top. They are red at first and fade and soften over 12 to 18 months, but they don’t disappear completely. How well a scar heals also depends on your skin. Your surgeon will look at your photos and tell you honestly which technique you need.

After pregnancy or weight loss, many breasts have both dropped and lost volume. A lift alone raises the breast but doesn’t restore fullness in the upper part. In that case, a lift can be combined with breast implants.

Combining procedures makes surgery longer and recovery harder. Your surgeon will recommend what is safe to do in one operation.
If your breast lift is combined with a tummy tuck or another larger operation, you’ll need to stay longer, usually around 10 days.
Not included: flights, travel insurance, personal expenses. Implants, and fat injection used alongside them, are quoted separately if you choose them.

A breast lift gives a long-lasting change in shape and position, but it doesn’t stop natural ageing. Gravity, pregnancy, breastfeeding and weight changes will still affect your breasts over the years. Keeping a stable weight and wearing a supportive bra help you keep your result for longer.
Will a breast lift make my breasts bigger?
No. A lift changes the position and shape of the breasts, not their size. If you’d like more fullness, it can be combined with implants.
Can I have a breast lift with fat transfer instead of implants?
It isn’t usually our preferred approach. Fat transfer adds only a limited amount of volume and doesn’t lift the breast on its own. For most patients, fat injection works best together with implants, to soften the edges and refine the shape. Your surgeon will tell you which option suits you.

How long do I need to stay in Turkey?
About 7 days for a breast lift alone, and around 10 days if it’s combined with a tummy tuck or another larger operation.
Can I breastfeed after a breast lift?
Many women can, as the nipple usually stays connected to the breast tissue. It can’t be guaranteed.
Should I wait until I’ve finished having children?
It’s often better to wait, as pregnancy and breastfeeding can change the result. Your surgeon can talk this through with you.
When can I go back to work?
Most people with desk jobs return after about two weeks.
Can someone come with me?
Yes, and we recommend it. Your companion can stay with you at the hotel.
